About This Trail
It's uphill from the parking area at the end of the road. The trail emerged in the first half for a view of the canyon and the falls. When you get to the old Fourth of July mine area, the trail steepens and flattens out. The trail leaves timberline on the old wagon road to Caribou Pass. A more rocky surface leads to the junction with the Arapaho Pass trail, with great views of the Middle Boulder Creek canyon. It said: It was said to go past the Arapaho Pass trail to turn left towards Lake Oro Grande. The old wagon road goes to the left and then goes towards the lake. It is a more direct way to the lake.
