About This Trail
A fire road hike through old and new growth. The 1400 feet of climb has wonderful views. You can take the 540 road past Cronemiller Lake to reach the 500 road after you leave the orange gate. You can follow the road up to the summit or junction. At this point, take the Davies road up to the Lewisburg Saddle and see the orange gate and port-a-john. You can go back up the 500 road after going up the 5010 road. If you leave the 500 road and follow the road back down to 500, you will be able to get to the lake. The total climbing gain is close to the amount quoted. 1470 ft. is what
