About This Trail

Imported description

This is a loop hike, which can be done either way. Many hike it "counter-clock wise" and bike it "clock-wise". This is the "hike" version which climbs 800 feet. The 540 road is a one mile road and the 543 road is a large single track. Take a left at the top of the climb. The "Cap House" was built in the 30's to store the blasting caps used to log and make the roads. Go left on the 500 road to Crone Miller Lake junction. The way to get to the OSU Timber Team practice area is to go left on the 540 road and follow it back to the gate.
