East Montrose County wrapping the north rim of the Black Canyon and the Gunnison Gorge. Pinyon-juniper and oakbrush on broken bench country drop into the deep volcanic gorge. Mix of BLM (Gunnison Gorge NCA) and GMUG National Forest with Black Canyon NP on the southern boundary.
