About this unit
West Saguache and east Hinsdale counties wrapping the La Garita Wilderness and Saguache Park. Aspen and spruce-fir climb to alpine tundra above 13,000 feet on the La Garita peaks. Predominantly Rio Grande and GMUG national forests with the La Garita Wilderness on the high country.
