About This Trail
This is a pleasant, short hike to some outstanding viewpoints. It's a great place for a picnic. The road south of Stonetown Rd leads to the Highlands Trail. Climb up the south slope of Windbeam Mountain after turning left. You will see a few viewpoints along the way. The trail goes down before it joins the Stonetown Circular Trail. They climb to the top of Windbeam Mountain. The best viewpoint after a short descent into a shallow ravine is the one on the other side. Go back to the junction of the Highlands and Stonetown Circular Trail.
