About This Trail
The quotation is from a waterfall. It is a great way to get out for the day but relax more than hike. It will take you down into the Blackriver and along other bodies of water. The gravel is put down on the trails. There are some trails along the Black River that are more akin to hiking trails. This hike will take you through the different trail types. You can walk along the trails and find benches and picnic areas. During the depression, there were old water fountains along the way. They don't work anymore. In the next year the trails will be marked. It's the best time to hike the area when you'll only see fly fisherman. The weekend tends to get crowded.
