About This Trail
The Highlands trail leads across the field. You can follow the blue blazes if you take left on the road and then turn right into woods. There are several nice viewpoints along the way uphill. The trail goes to Blue Mine, which is flooded. It's possible to turn right using the red dot on the white trail. The Mine Trail will lead to a turn right. The passage Roomy mine is on the left. Entry is not allowed Sept 1 - April. It is due to bats that we have 30th. They climb to another nice viewpoint when the mine trail meets a yellow and white trail. Staying on the orange trail will lead you to the Highlands Trail. Go left on Highlands Trail and back to the parking area.
