About This Trail
This easy out-and-back leads to an east-facing overlook with views of the Colorado River, Monument Basin, and the La Sal Mountains. It offers views similar to Grand View Point and is a good alternative when that lot is full, and is best in late afternoon light. NPS lists it at 1.8 mi round trip with 159 ft of elevation change; trailhead parking is very limited.
