About This Trail
The trail is easy to leave from Farmington. There are no real technical difficulties in completing the 14 mile ride to Jay, but you will have to contend with a few miles of sand on a bike. The trail is easy to follow, but be aware that it is used by snowmobiles. There are places to eat on the way. You can get to the trail from the baseball field that is across from the high school. If you park here, you will have to cross route 4. You can park in the parking lot and hit the trail there.
