About This Trail

Cadillac Mountain is the tallest mountain on the eastern seaboard. The summit is to the left of the South Ridge Trail. The US Coast and Geodetic Survey established two survey benchmarks. The South Ridge Trail is a gradual climb, but it has an advantage of not being close to the Cadillac Summit Road until the end. There is a wooden bench for taking a break at the small pond called The Featherbed.
