About This Trail

Observation Point and Hidden Canyon are closed due to rockfall. The Weeping Rock Trail and shuttle stop are closed because of a rockfall. These are not permanent closings at this time. Weeping Rock has a great view of The Great White Throne. Water that has been drinking for 1200 years trickles out of the sandstone and forms a rain in front of an overhang. The swamp is a distinctive feature of Zion, where maidenhair fern and horsetails grow. When the maples begin to turn in late October, there is more to see. The passage of the hours will change the colors in your eyes.
