About This Trail

Imported description

This easy county road runs between the north end of Tarryall and the south end of highway 24 and ends at the town of Hartsel. It gives great views of the mountain ranges. The north end is a good place to start. As you approach the water, the trail twists and turns to the south. The road is easy to find and always follows county road 23 until the end. There are side roads up into the hills east of the trail that you can take to stay on Turner Gulch Road. You can see the Schoolmarm Mountain near the road and then take a right onto the peak of Rishaberger Mountain.
