About This Trail
It's the best hiking in Dry Creek Pioneer Park that gives you great scenic views and solitude. The Tolman Peak is located at the southeast side of Garin / Dry Creek Pioneer Park. The site is famous for the plane crash in 1951. You can take this hike from the park's entrance to the peak. It starts with a moderate uphill hike and a few creek crossings until you get to Tolman Peak. It leads you into a wellshaded trail in the oak woods after the peak, and you can return to the summit in the same way. This is a fantastic hike for people looking for solitude and great scenic views. It is the best time to hike in the summer.
