About This Trail
The route goes from the base of Mount Francis to the base of Mount Thurston. Then goes north. You will leave the main trail and scramble to the top if you don't know what to do. The views from the top of Mount Thurston are amazing. The Great Salt Lake can be seen all the way into Salt Lake City and the West. You will enjoy the green Alpine meadow and wild flowers during the early summer.
