About This Trail

Imported description
It is a nice walk along the Eklutna River. It is very easy to find the trailhead off of the Glenn Highway. You can either cross the Eklutna River north or south when you get to the exit. The trail is maintained well and is a popular destination. It is an easy trail to hike, with boardwalks, rails, and view points. The trail splits off from a general path to get a view of the falls from a balcony. It is not encouraged to explore and take pictures of Eklutna River as it can be dangerous. The Creekside trail is the best way to get to the falls. After crossing the creek, follow it to the base of the falls.
