About This Trail

It is a yearround open area. Unless you're going to winter sports, the exit road is closed for most of the month of November and December because a state road ban means cars cannot drive in the snow. It is best to use caution visiting in the off season, as there are sometimes closed streets and bad vibes when the road is not open. It was suggested that we start atthe Exit Glacier nature center lot. Relating: following the Glacier View loop trails through the cottonwood forest will take you to a viewpoint that spans the boundary of the two glaciers, Exit Glacier and Glacier View. It's worth saying: either the loop to parking area or the road to the exit is accessible.
