Sweeny Ridge Trail to Fifield Ridge Road

The trail begins in the parking lot. It is a long journey, but once you get to the ridge, there is less up and down. The inclines are a challenge. If it's sunny you'll get to see the San Francisco Bay on one side and the Pacific Ocean on the other. It is still enjoyable if it is not sunny and the fog allows for a bit of solitude. The first time the Spanish saw the Bay there was a monument. The trail is a bit muddy in spots and there isn't any shade, but it's usually pretty windy up there.
