Strike Ravine OHV Trail

Raw and rugged with scenic spots, this lesser known Easter Jeep Safari trail has become more popular since the development of Area BFE. Although Area BFE is privately owned, it was purchased by its owners to be developed into a world-class, extreme 4-wheel-drive park. Fees are charged for special events, but at other times the area is open to the public at no charge. Donations help support the area and are gratefully accepted at drop box as you exit parking lot. Please note that another section of private property, between barbed wire gates at 2.7 miles, is not part of Area BFE. As you pass through this short section, clearly defined by the fence, do so quickly and without incident. Respect rights of the land owner. Most of trail is located on BLM land. For current status call Bureau of Land Management, Moab Field Office at (435) 259-2100. Steep, rocky climbs and descents sandwiched between easy and moderate stretches. High ground clearance and good articulation will get you through. Some aggressive stock vehicles can do it. Side trips on BFE trails, like Helldorado, are strictly for rock buggies and extremely modified vehicles.
