About This Trail

Take Seven Bridges Trail to Trail 622. Take the informal trail on the right after you pass Nelson's Camp. You can find the informal trail at the end of the road. The trail becomes less defined if you stay straight. It is where the bushwhacking begins and becomes extremely difficult. It is a good idea to go to the gate and then hike to the reservoir. The hike is 14 miles with 4,100 feet. It is not for people who are new to it. The terrain is very difficult to navigate once you leave Trail 668. The FS 373 is still very steep, but it is less difficult.
