About This Trail
The trail begins near the entrance of the picnic area and goes north before ending on the mountain trail. A climb to the top of Snowball Mountain is difficult and a descent down the peak is moderate. The dramatic view from Hawkbill Rock is the highlight of the hike. You have to overcome a rock scramble in order to get to the scenic outcropping.
