Saddle to Ski Run Trail

Heroic views without much effort. A great car shuttle ride or pedal up Keller. Mostly flowy downhill with a few short uphill sections. Last half mile in the neighborhood a little confusing but if you cross perpendicular to each road section, you should piece it together. From Adams, go around the green gate and continue down and a little up past Party Rock. Kinda a sandy and wide fire road with broken glass. It gets better. Mile 0.1 - turn down and right onto Cal Neva Trail Mile 0.2 - stay right and junction Mile 0.6 - left (down) at junction onto Van Sickle Trail Mile 0.9 - Leave Van Sickle Trail and stay left and head southwest Mile 1.2 - join the maintenance fire road Mile 1.5 - stay left at a junction and go off maintenance fire road. After a few hundred feet you hit a sandy hairpin turn. After another few hundred feet you cross a creek and do a short climb. Mile 1.7 - another junction and hairpin turn. Stay left. Mile 2.0 - just before join Chonokis St, look for a skinny singletrack to the left. Now the route finding fun begins. Every few hundred feet you cross another street. Use the force: you’ll piece it together. Or you can always give up and join the road. Quitter.
