About This Trail
The Strawberry Potero is a spectacular setting in a meadow, with a view of the 1000 foot cliff face of Strawberry Peak. The hike has very little shade. The Colby Canyon Trail leads to the base of Strawberry Peak, and the directions are simple. You may want to consider a side hike up a poorly maintained and extremely steep trail to the top of Strawberry Peak when you reach the saddle.
