San Gabriel Peak from Red Box

The trail is good for a workout, but the grade is steep. After a stroll on the Mt. The next 1.8 miles are comprised of several dozen switchbacks going up. The trail is narrow and has steep drop-offs. The trail goes past an old paved road that leads to the Mt. Turn left on this road. You go straight after 100 yards if you have a switchback to the right. The path goes through oaks and then goes up to the summit in less than a half mile.
