About This Trail
If you are willing to work a lot and dedicate some time, you will be able to summit the mountain. The local names for both Grassy and Whale Back mountain are "both local names." A list: beautiful, rare, steep mountain meadows, dotted with cascading waterfalls. The bears are very fond of the bear grass at the top.
