About This Trail

One of the most difficult trails in the area is still amazing views. There are a variety of challenges for hard-core enthusiast. The trail opens later in the season when the snow is not plowing. The trail is fun but difficult for ATVs. They only have skilled dirt bikers. It connects to California Gulch and Corkscrew Gulch. It is located in the Uncompahgre National Forest. The Ouray Ranger District can be muddy during wet periods. It is difficult to climb a steep rock without lockers. It is possible that other rocky climbs need winching. It's not recommended for stock SUVs going uphill.
