About This Trail
The canal comes out of the crater. It then connects to the Todd Lake Trail or the Green Lakes trail at a junction. The crater in the center of Broken Top feeds the Crater creek. It's a Glacier Crater with a waterfall. To get to the trailhead, you need to go to Todd Lake and access National Forest Road 370, which is a dirt and gravel road. You'll need a vehicle with good ground clearance in some places. The 380 goes to the trailhead. You will know you're on the road when you see a small creek on the right. National Forest Road 370 is a seasonal road. It usually closes by late October.
