About This Trail
This is a very easy hike and a summit that small children can reach. It is a strolling trail through some chaparral near the trailhead. It becomes a forest in a matter of moments. The trail is a bit worn and wide in places. If you bring small children on a busy day, be careful. This is bear country, with a lot of ursine activity, so be careful. It's important to make noise to stay out of trouble. If you blink, you will see the Big Tujunga Canyon to the West, Twin Peaks and Mt. Pacifico stared you in the face to the north.
