About This Trail
You can park your car at Bull Creek Pass and walk to the peak. The road from the other side of Bull Creek Pass is not accessible for 2WD in high water years or in the spring melt. The log fence is painted brown and the log book is next to the gate. The trail is easy to make out until you reach the top of the summit ridge, as there are no trees to block your view. The tallest stone cairn is not the summit, you have to go to a smaller one. This is where the tracker is. Go to the saddle if you feel energetic. Mt. and Ellen Summit. Climb the sides of Mt. Ellen Peak. "Ellen Peak" is a quote. You will complete two mountains in less than an hour.
