About This Trail

The Mokelumne Coast to Crest Trail Day Hike is in the Upper Mokelumne River Canyon. See more at www.mc2ct.org. Major portions of the MCCT are open. This trail was started over 30 years ago. The trail between Mosquito Lake and Pacific Valley was completed in 2015. It was the first time that this small segment was able to allow travel between Ebbetts Pass and Lake Alpine without walking next to the highway.
