About This Trail
The steep, rocky, off-CHOP hill where winch posts have been drilled and set in the rocks adds to the fear factor. The Mirror Lake Trail is a hardcore rock crawling trail that runs from Strawberry Lake Trail to the north end of the lake. Rock crawling, swimming, fishing, camping, and lake side relaxation in the high mountains of the Sierra National Forest make for one of the most challenging and rewarding 1.3 miles you can run. The Red Mountain off-road trail network sits northeast of Shaver Lake and Southeast of Huntington Lake and includes the Mirror Lake Trail.
