About This Trail

Imported description
A nice hike, though not easy. The trail begins in pines and ends in saguaros. This is a good route to take when the road to Mount Lemmon isn't open. Go to Summerhaven after taking the E. Carter Canyon road. You can leave one car with the other car at the recreation area if you want to. From the Wilderness of Rocks trail's southernmost point, you can go another 2.4 miles to the Romero Pass. The West Fork trail leads to Hutch's Pool. You can walk the rest of the way to the recreation area. It is important to carry a lot of water.
