About This Trail
This is a great trek with a lot of options to extend it. It's hard to find a hike that offers everything from mountain views, forest terrain, creek crossing, and beach hiking. If there has been a recent storm, you will need to know the local tide timetables, as well as the ascent at the end, which takes you up 3,000ft in 3mi. It's recommended to do this in the late-Spring/ Summer/ early-Fall. Prepare for the possibility of snow and challenging creek crossing during the winter. It's best to check with the local project office about the trail's condition because it can have a lot of blowdown from the weather.
