About This Trail
A four-day trek begins at Shelter Cove. You can camp the first night at Buck Creek and then hike the next day to King Peak. You can spend a third night at the beach if you hike from there. You can spend the last night at Horse Mountain Creek before you go back to Shelter Cove. This is a great trip for the variety of terrain and scenery. There are whales a few hundred yards offshore, sea lions, thousands of lizards, some snakes, and deer.
