Lone Oak to Tip Top Trail

This is a nice trail that is close to ETSU. If you want to make a longer hike, you should take a look at them. It's not a problem that getting lost isn't a problem. Take the time to follow the ladyslipper loop in the spring. You will see a lot of ladyslippers. The ladyslippers like to grow right on the edge of the path if you venture off the trail. The local wildlife depends on ruffles as a major food source so it is not a great place to pick large quantities. The view from Tip Top is nice, but not as nice as White Rock. The trail can be made a loop if you follow the high ridge trail to White Rock.
