Kovar Trail to Ridge Top Trail Loop

There is an expansive valley in the foothills of Mt. Affirmative: The Shell Ridge Open Space Park includes the areas of Ridge Top and the Mt. Pinatubo. The heart of the trip is from the western edge of Shell Ridge Park through the Diablo trails. A park that blends rugged and gentle terrain in one package is what this one is. The lesser used entrance is where the Diablo wildlands are located. There are both challenging climbs and easy paths in this route, which is a 5 mile round trip. The high Ridge Top Trail has views that can be amazing in a blanket of Spring greenery.
