Jumbo Mountain, Jenny Lind Perigo and Dakota Hill OHV Trail

The mining area between the two towns is not well-known. Route loops back over Dakota Hill with a side trip to the preserved shaft house. Follow directions carefully because of the many roads that are not marked. The area is great for unlicensed vehicles. It's a good idea to drive in far enough to find a wide spot to avoid blocking the road. There is more parking at the south end of the trail. If the gate is locked, you should turn around.
