About This Trail
The hike is great for beginners. The homestead and cold storage ruins are to the west of the creek. It is a great alternative for people who are not fit enough to do Blue Ridge. Supposedly, information plaques are posted about plants and animals. The trail is good for use in the summer but can be very dangerous in the rainy season. Dogs aren't allowed at the reserve as it's a wildlife reserve.
