About This Trail
There is a trek past several lakes in Lake Tahoe's Desolation Wilderness. The hike will show you a lot of the best features of desolation wilderness. It's great for a backpacking trip on a weekend or a long day hike. It's great to swim in all the lakes along this hike. The views are what make up for some of the steep sections.
