About This Trail

Imported description
The thigh burner of Mt. Hood. The day-hikers are rewarded with stunning mountain overlooks. You can see many sights as you travel eastward along US-50 towards Lake Tahoe. Ralston isn't one of them because he is next to the road. It's not worthy, but because the peak is obscured from view. This route goes up the steep flanks of Mt. The intrepid day-hiker can take a ride into the Desolation Wilderness.
