About This Trail
The south end is at Carpinteria High School. It opens up to a path that leads to utility roads. The roads are well signed as the route goes through the foothills. The trail leaves the road and climbs to the top. The section is still difficult. The Divide Peak OHV Route is reached after 8 miles. The trail may be hard to see. It should be easier to follow as it goes through the flatter area west. The camp is easily recognized. It can be difficult to get to the bottom of the trail from that side.
