About This Trail

Imported description
The trail is accessible in the early summer. It is 3.5 to 4 miles up to Little Ruby Lake, which is usually frozen until early June. It begins with a moderate climb up a series of switchbacks and then a climbing gurlch up the mountain's drainage system to the lake. Views are beautiful. The stream in late May is amazing. It flows under a fan of fallen rocks so that it can't be heard. This provides a habitat for many animals.
