About This Trail
The summit is named after the space shuttle Challenger. You can follow the signs to the lake. You can follow the trail up to the ridge after many switchbacks, but you have to stay on the left side of the lake. It is hard to follow for a while, but the key is to stay just to the right of a couloir that leads up to the ridge. You can follow the ridge to the summit. A plaque on the summit will let you know you've arrived.
