About This Trail
The route goes into the canyons of the Green Trinities, where you can find solitude and quiet riverside camps. Before heading out, check with the rangers for the current conditions, as parts of this area were severely burned in 2006 and 2008. It is required for overnight visitors to have a wilderness permit. It is required for campfires and camp stoves. The Trinity Alps are always open, but most access roads are closed during winter.
