Dee Wright Observatory Trails

You will feel like you're on the moon while you explore the trails through the lava fields at the highest point in the observatory. The structure is made of lava rocks and it has great views of the surrounding volcanoes. You will feel like you are in the moon after following the loop trail through the lava field. It's hard to believe that this much lava came from the earth. Take the time to read the interpretive signs on the trail.
