About This Trail
The trail has been relocated to the south side of Deception Creek and then climbs a steep ridge to Deception Butte The trail has changed over the last few years from Highway 58 to Forest Road 5850. The upper trailhead is not a good place to start. The trail from the upper trail up to Deception Butte is rocky and slick.
