About this unit
Northwestern Jefferson and northern Clear Creek counties west of Golden. Ponderosa and Douglas-fir on the foothills climb into lodgepole at the higher elevations near the Continental Divide. Mix of Arapaho National Forest, Golden Gate Canyon State Park, and county open space with substantial private ground.
