Cinega Trail to Woodward Ridge Trail Loop

San Diego Audubon owns and maintains the 785-acre Silverwood Wildlife Sanctuary. It is intended to preserve as complete and natural a state as possible a prime area of coastal chaparral. It is available for hiking, guided walks, bird watching, and education. There are more than 300 native plant species and more than 100 bird species recorded there. It is open to visitors from 9am to 4pm on Sundays. It was closed in August and September due to fire danger.
