About This Trail
The trail leading to the beautiful secluded falls and overlook of Ouray is directly behind the sign. The trail is easy to follow. Take a left when you reach the T junction. Remember this location, so you don't miss the turn on your return trip. Continue along this trail as you get to the Amphitheater. Go up the hill at the intersection and you'll be able to see the wall. The trail will cross the ridge and go back to the Falls. It's a good idea to cross Cascade Creek. This crossing can be done with water or ice. Go through the bunkhouse and follow the trail to the other side after the crossing. If you descend a little and continue a short way, you will find the old mine shaft. Return the way you arrived.
