About This Trail

Imported description

This hike goes through the lower elevation of the Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument. For more than half the year, the canyon is not fordable. The flowers peak in the late April- early May time period. The grass becomes prickly in May. When the trail is wet, let it dry for 3 or more days before you do the hike. The area is hot in May- October. The walks along the ridges are lovely in the nice weather.
